Our camp to learn Spanish is also about understanding the culture that shapes it. At ES Camps, we take cultural immersion seriously. From visiting iconic landmarks like the Royal Palace and Prado Museum to exploring hidden gems like local markets and traditional neighbourhoods, our students experience Madrid in a way that tourists never do. We organise guided tours and exciting activities to experience the real culture.

Our youth camp includes daily half-day excursions on weekdays and full-day excursions on weekends, giving you the chance to explore famous sites and hidden gems alike. Imagine standing in the grandeur of the Royal Palace (Palacio Real), Spain’s largest palace and the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family. Here, students can explore the stunning rooms decorated with frescoes (a form of mural painting applied on a plastered wall when the plaster is still wet), tapestries, and intricate decorations while learning about Spain’s royal history.
Whether visiting the ancient city of Toledo, exploring the green oasis of El Retiro Park, or admiring the Crystal Palace, every excursion is an opportunity to practice your Spanish in a real-world context. Your Activity Leader is there to guide you through every aspect of your camp experience, from helping you navigate the Metro system to organising group activities and providing support whenever you need it.
