It is called the “lungs of New York” because it gives the city fresh air and a peaceful escape from the noise. Central Park is also one of the most visited places in the United States. Millions of people come here every year! Tourists, locals, families, and students all love this park. It is also home to many famous events, concerts, and even movie scenes.
Did you know? Central Park was the first public park in the United States. It opened in 1858 and has been a favourite place for people ever since!
