The Frame’s architecture is nothing short of a spectacular wonder, with a height of 150 metres and a width of 93 metres, made from steel, aluminium, concrete, and glass. The golden colour was chosen to represent the sun’s shining reflection on the city. The structure comprises two vertical towers connected at the top by a 100-square-metre bridge with a 25-square-metre glass panel in the middle, offering visitors a thrilling experience as they walk over it, seeing the ground beneath their feet.
Visiting Dubai Frame is like taking a journey through time. The experience starts at the mezzanine level, where you enter the Past Gallery. This museum-like space uses advanced technology to depict Dubai’s transformation over the years, showcasing its humble beginnings before the discovery of oil. Next, visitors take an elevator to the Sky deck, where the present unfolds beneath them. Here, on either side of the Frame, you can see the stark contrast between old Dubai to the north and the modern skyscrapers to the south, including iconic buildings like the Burj Khalifa.
But the journey doesn’t end here. The Frame also offers a glimpse into the future. The Future Gallery, located on the other side of the Sky deck, uses immersive projections and virtual reality to transport visitors 50 years into the future, presenting a vision of what Dubai aims to achieve in the coming decades. It’s a vivid, imaginative experience reflecting the city’s ambitions and commitment to innovation and sustainability.
